Pros
- lots of interesting and exciting projects to work on, never a dull moment - great benefits - people are almost all incredibly nice and helping, oftentimes people stick around just for the great atmosphere even if the pay could be better (depends on the department) - a good annual leave package - casual atmosphere, as long as you're polite and concise and know how to present something, there's nothing wrong with going to someone more senior to discuss this
Cons
- Communication between departments is non-existent. Oftentimes one team has no clue what the other is doing because no one bothered to arrange a quick meeting to discuss a new project. We need better communication - Senior Management is sometimes unwilling to get rid of people who hold a high position but are really bad at their job. Not even sure it's nepotism on their end, feels like the higher ups are genuinely not aware that someone massively incompetent is heading a department or is a very unpleasant person to deal with. Worse is if sometimes they are aware but they don't do anything unless literally the whole company complains about someone specific - don't let it get this far
