Pros
Stoel is a good place to gain experience on your way to your dream job. They have an excellent training staff and many practice assistants and paralegals who are highly knowledgeable in their various areas of law. You can learn a lot there that will build your skill set and help hone your focus as to what you ultimately want to do.
Cons
They have shrunk their staff down to a point where employees are overwhelmed and overloaded due to high ratios. They have coddled and enabled some highly toxic staff members simply because they have good skills or knowledge. Upper management at times seemed nearly obsessed with "what the other firms are doing" instead of simply focusing on improving things internally.
