Pros
As a part-time stylist, the pros are the ability to work from home, enjoying a flexible schedule, being independent, etc. Also, if you've never worked in fashion, you'll think it's cool to call yourself a Stylist.
Cons
Pay is $15/hr which translates to $3.75 per client styled. You get paid less than $4 to style someone whether they spend $20 or $200, whether you are good at styling clients or not. There are long stretches of time (months) with very little new inventory. It is depressing to send great clients sub-par items. The good stylists are not rewarded, so high performers leave. Supervisors use this fake rah-rah cheerleader style of communication to try to motivate stylists. It's obviously not genuine.
