Pros
my experience has been extremely autonomous, being able to fully manage my business and own my strategies. I've learned more here than in my past two companies combined, partnering cross-functionally with many different teams. I love my direct teammates, but our change in leadership has impacted overall culture of the team. There is a 360 feedback model, however little action appears to be taken once received. They do offer competitive salaries & benefits
Cons
High turnover is resulting in very poor morale and horrible work/life balance. With major changes to senior leadership (hiring of Amazon execs) there has been a dramatic decline in overall work/life balance. Our leadership team is also consistently receiving poor feedback around this and is unable to deliver any solutions or paths to improvement. Our team has consistent competing priorities, with additional meetings and reviews added to our schedule with minimal time to prepare. Loads of granular data & preseason work is done and is most of the time thrown out the window if our sales forecast declines, with no accountability on the marketing side to meet their customer acquisition targets (essentially any decrease in sales directly impacts buying with us having to rightsize inventory).
