Pros

-Convenient schedule -Working from home -Minimal hours -Company culture -Nice staff

Cons

Although, the pros of this job might be the leading positive factor, it really isn't enough to try keep it. The internal system of this company is what I have a huge problem with. The inventory is inconsistent or not of quality clothes as they will train you to say. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the clothes are really overpriced and not anything special that you can't get from the mall or main stream companies like Target or Old Navy. Most of my clients have even said that to me in their feedback. But the worst thing about this job is that the inventory and metric system that you are bound to ultimately dictates whether or not you stay with the company. Most of the time, you will not have the full inventory of what goes out in emails or advertisements that customers see, and will have to pick from left overs and make the best of it to send out to your clients because you are limited in time. If clients don't like it, they rate your fixes and this eventually hurts or better your performance metrics. If this proceeds for a consecutive 4 week (which is shown to you in a 4 week delay, so metrics aren't in real time and you don't have any control over it) you pretty much are at risk to be fired after getting put on a coaching plan. This is a huge con for me since there is no way really pinpoint a way to improve and there other leading factors that aren't in your control such as internal algorithms, client feedback ambiguity and lack of inventory (trends are also old and dated). It's frustrating as a stylist and as a person who has put a lot of effort into a job that doesn't offer real solutions and blames everything on the stylist. You are better off working at a retail store for the same if not better pay. Not to mention, on top of being bound to metrics, there are also group meetings, surveys, event capsules and extra curricular activities they send out which are great if you have all the time in the world. But 90% of people who want this job, want it because they have other jobs or things going on in their life. The time & effort into this job isn't worth the pay or the maintenance. Not to mention, the job is super repetitive and will make you somewhat crazy if you don't space out your hours. This is a great company & has huge potential. But they're is a bigger problem when it comes to misleading their subscribers and employees.

Pros

• I work with genuinely kind, supportive people who are always willing to jump in and help or give feedback to help me grow. • I've had the opportunity to partner with a variety of teams and build meaningful relationships across the business even from a remote setting. • Flexible work environment that allowed for a healthy work-life balance. • I've always felt trusted to manage my workload and bring new ideas to recruiting processes. • Mission-driven culture with employees who truly cared about helping clients feel confident in their personal style. • Great place to develop recruiting skills while working alongside talented and thoughtful teammates.

Cons

• Stakeholder alignment could take time when multiple teams were involved in hiring decisions. • I honestly don't have many cons to share. I can genuinely see myself working at Stitch Fix for many years to come. It's a company that truly values its people, and I'm proud to say I work here when people ask. The culture, mission, and people make it a place where I feel supported, challenged, and excited to contribute every day.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
