Pros

They give free snacks which is cool but causes lots of other problems. I am sure the employees would much rather get raises (Stitch Fix does not give raises!) but the snacks are much cheaper.

Cons

When I was first hired, the atmosphere was a great place to be apart of. We had cool managers with lots of experience and they made it fun. When the company started bringing in upper management and strongly opinionated HR teams, that is when it all started going down hill! There is a lot of turnover at the upper management level which made it very difficult to stay on a positive path, and the company allows their HR teams to make operation decisions without consulting the operations team. They say that their company structure is centered around feedback to help people grow, but I think that only exists at the corporate level. In the warehouse, you can get fired for absolutely no reason, without any warning, especially if you are in a leadership position. I have seen several good managers and supervisors let go just for disagreeing with the HR teams operation decisions! Supervisors are technically in charge of running the operation. They are supposed to be able to make daily operation decisions, recruit, terminate, manage attendance and performance, etc. (We don't make near enough for the amount of responsibility). If we need assistance, we used to be able to go to the Ops Managers that were very useful, bright, kind and goal oriented! These people are being replaced by introverts that just go along with what the upper management and HR teams feel is best. (Keep that in mind if you are looking at all of the newly posted Operation Manager roles!) Very Sad. I was so excited about this company, but I think they are growing so fast, they literally just have no idea where they want to go or what they are doing. I'm sure if you are a customer, you have noticed that the selection of items have been getting worse, they are just drowning and in the process they are getting rid of the people that could have and wanted to help.

Pros

The people you actually work with are actually fantastic humans and brilliant engineers. They're eager to learn, collaborate, and help no matter what level they are or team they're on. You can make real friends here.

Cons

Unfortunately, the business just hasn't been as stable as it used to be. Leadership is always changing something and there isn't as much transparency about those decisions as there once was.

Pros

• I work with genuinely kind, supportive people who are always willing to jump in and help or give feedback to help me grow. • I've had the opportunity to partner with a variety of teams and build meaningful relationships across the business even from a remote setting. • Flexible work environment that allowed for a healthy work-life balance. • I've always felt trusted to manage my workload and bring new ideas to recruiting processes. • Mission-driven culture with employees who truly cared about helping clients feel confident in their personal style. • Great place to develop recruiting skills while working alongside talented and thoughtful teammates.

Cons

• Stakeholder alignment could take time when multiple teams were involved in hiring decisions. • I honestly don't have many cons to share. I can genuinely see myself working at Stitch Fix for many years to come. It's a company that truly values its people, and I'm proud to say I work here when people ask. The culture, mission, and people make it a place where I feel supported, challenged, and excited to contribute every day.
