The administrative side of the company is terrible.
Family run, which could be a good thing but it isn’t a good thing with this company.
Terrible treatment of its drivers.
Safety treats you like a child.
Dispatchers and driver managers are either overworked or not there when you need them.
There’s no way to know whether or not you’ll get good loads to keep you moving.
There’s just so much wrong in my experience at this company. A lot of people at stevens will brush off any criticism by saying “oh, that was just a bad driver”. I worked my butt off for this company and they failed to meet me in the middle, as I know they do to plenty of other drivers. Do not get your cdl here. And if already have your cdl, even with no experience, go somewhere else. You’ll work here for a year and they will treat you like garbage for years afterwards.
