Pros

you'll get a pay check

Cons

this is merely my opinion. what do i know, i only work here. This company hires drivers to work 72 hours per week and calls that the minimum. Realistically, they expect you to be willing to work as long as they want for no extra pay. The company has a policy that you are expected to pay for damage to anything. If a vehicle is damaged in towing, they'll try to make you pay for the entire damages. If your work truck is damaged, they'll try to make you pay for all damages. If your truck is damaged, not only do you get to pay for the parts, but they also bill you for labor to repair the truck. This can result in you getting to work for months for essentially nothing. They will ask you to sign a stack of forms during hiring agreeing to waive nearly all your legal rights. I wonder why. If your truck needs maintenance, well that's what your day off is for. You already work 6 days at 12+ hours a day, but you can take your truck to the shop on your day off for free. Realistically, I'd say they want 80-85 hours per week. You are paid by the day and in their opinion, that day can be as long as they feel like they need you. They hire people for a location, but send them somewhere else over 30 miles away from where they were hired to work. That happened to a guy they hired recently. They seem to call you while you're not at work most days. Generally speaking, nobody seems to have any idea what is going on. Decisions are made by who knows. If you want to make slightly above minimum wage, be an "operator" expected to figure out any problem, work hours for free everyday, and possibly be billed thousands of dollars for any damage to include a flat tire that Stepp's claims is your fault, then this is the place for you. They claim their drivers are making all this commission. Not from what I see. In no way is this place somewhere I would recommend. On the flip side, they do hire felons. They certainly do. The company seems to have been in a constant state of hiring for years. It's a revolving door. I'd guess the average driver is with the company under a year, possibly even under six months average. The health benefits are minimal. I personally doubt the company pays for much of it. Take home pay for a driver is on average 650 dollars a week or less. I'd say an average work week is roughly 78 hours. You do the math. You'd be better off working at WalMart where you have some chance of being promoted into something. I'd consider this an absolute dead end company to work in with no reason to work here. I do not know of any other cdl or equipment job that pays so little with so many hours.
