Pros

The only silver lining is learning how to not treat employees, manage, and run an office or company.

Cons

Sexism, is not only prevalent but completely tolerated. The mentality of the place is for a person to put the company above themselves at all costs. They prey on new hires to get the most work at minimal pay, while promising opportunities that are never going to come. Management is unchecked and only their to make themselves more money in anyway possible. There is no training every available, or when it is offered, management decides its not worth them loosing any hours or work to employees bettering themselves and learning new things. The culture and environment of the company is terrible, from rampant gossip, sexism, elitism, false promises, and common belittlement of employees.

Pros

Even nearly 11 years after leaving Stephen Gould, I still consider it one of the best companies I have ever worked for. The culture within the Addison office was something truly special. Under the guidance of Todd Harmon and Rick DeVincent, leadership fostered an environment that was collaborative, innovative, supportive, and genuinely team-oriented. My fellow account managers and colleagues became like family, which is not something many companies can claim. What always stood out to me was Stephen Gould’s commitment to innovation — not only in packaging and supply chain solutions, but in continuously evolving alongside changing technologies and industry demands. The company never seemed content with simply being successful; there was always a drive to improve, grow, and better serve their clients. I recently stopped by the office after years abroad, and what struck me immediately was that the energy and culture I remembered were still very much alive. The team was engaged, enthusiastic, and actively discussing exciting future projects and growth initiatives. It spoke volumes about the consistency of the leadership and the company culture. I originally resigned to focus on raising my children, not because I wanted to leave the company. To this day, I still recommend Stephen Gould to entrepreneurs and businesses seeking packaging, logistics, and supply chain expertise. Very few companies leave such a lasting positive impression on both your professional career and your personal life. Stephen Gould certainly did for me.

Cons

They are stuck with me forever!
