3yThank you for this feedback and sharing your perspective. Leading with empathy is an integral part of our hospitality mindset, but something that can be challenging to perfect. From the experience you described, it sounds like we didn’t quite meet that mark. In partnership with growing that empathy, we remain humble and open to growth when we receive feedback like this.
Our team members come from many different industries and backgrounds. We value the contributions each individual makes to our work environment but recognize that the approach might be different for each manager and each team. As a team, we promote feedback and open communication so we can better understand how we can align those various perspectives to achieve a common goal, but most importantly, ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. As a former team member, we’re sorry we didn’t get a chance to talk through these concerns and find a resolution while you were here with us. Generally speaking, we’d encourage any employee to reach out to their leaders to share feedback directly, or partner with our People Operations team so we can better understand how to support their experience at Steno.
