Pros

The company shutdown and folded into Samsung. However the management has no clue how outdated their technology is and why no customer was interested. This is a pro for those who want to join a company where the work is fixing bugs in product stack that absolutely no hope of ever becoming a product. So take it easy as there will never be any customer to validate your work and absolutely no one asking you about the complexity of your algorithms.

Cons

Complete dead end job. You fix bugs and salute management taking technical decisions with no clue as to how much the world has evolved technologically in shared data storage.

Pros

Colleagues are talented and supportive, and there are ample opportunities -- both company-sponsored and unofficial -- to connect with them. Training and guidance is provided, which is great for those early in their careers, such as myself. I feel that I am valued, as is my work; most of my projects strengthened my skills or positively affected workflows. The facilities, including the gym, cafeteria, and lounge areas, are excellent and well-maintained.

Cons

The only con I've experienced so far is that the workplace can be too vibrant, though it's typically just a minor inconvenience. As this is a start-up, no shortage of work will be found here. Although I've noticed there are times of high engagement and pressure, it's not far beyond the norm in this industry. The office building contains an open sun room used as a recreation or conference room that is shared with another group belonging to the parent company. They are considerate, but the volume (especially during ping-pong matches) can occasionally reach levels that make me want to use headphones since I sit close to this area.
