Pros

- Smart/Talented Team: We've done a great job of attracting some of the best talent from traditionally high-powered backgrounds - Company Culture/Relationships: Everyone is friends, sociable/likable people, there are a lot of happy hours/team events, people hang outside of work - Startup Feel: It feels young, nimble, while having the ability to wear multiple hats or forge your own path to some degree - Decent Pay: The salaries are competitive and are a reason the company can attract top talent

Cons

- Lack of Transparency: Some steps have been made here since The Mass Layoff (26% RIF) back in January, but the general consensus is LT still bends over backwards to distort reality...with a goal of ultimately keeping people calm so that the business is never disrupted. This general attitude is why some of the most critical information is locked away in a black box.. and their exaggerated optimism continues to make people anxious as one-off terminations keep happening each month. And separately, there have also been instances of bonuses communicated to people that are now not coming to fruition, as well as the hiring of several people late in 2022 who were laid off within 1-2 months. Anyone would prefer full transparency. - Lack of Significant Sales: This is one topic that LT hasn't kept a secret, but for some reason 2022 and 2023 sales had never taken off as anticipated (and we've even lost existing accounts because the product/full-service model couldn't perform under certain conditions). We hired a new sales exec who has made some improvements here...but he can't force customers to buy something if they don't want it. - Political Work Environment: While the culture is solid, the decision making is political. Favors from old-time employees are granted, and secret meetings do occur. And not in all cases...but this is likely a factor for promotions, raises, and terminations. - Inefficient Operations Team: The model of many expensive FTEs fully supporting 1-2 accounts each is not going to be viable as we (maybe) scale. The Ops team is in need of major changes, but no one is willing to speak up due to fear.

Cons

Nothing out of the ordinary, company is still growing and has the expected growing pains. Pros outweigh any cons.
