Pros
Minor discount on beer. Company vehicle. Good people. Some great products. There are very few requirements to get hired because there is a huge attrition rate.
Cons
Sawed off Napoleonic tyrant that is totally out of touch with reality as head of company. If you like your family or holidays this is not the place for you. They like to make up new rules as they go along. AB distributors in other states have fun and make their employees feel valued. The attrition rate is tremendous. This is not a company for anyone that wants to think for themselves. Creativity and education are frowned upon. They want you to nod in agreement and that is all. There is a constant fear of being fired for no reason just to show that they can flex their will. There is very little respect for a company that has a proud legacy as an institution in Boise. Other distributors in the area laugh at Stein and their policy of do more with less. The sooner AB pulls their business, the better for the industry. A lot of favoritism is shown to those employees that have connections. Example- Anyone that is related to upper management, has pro-sports potential, relationships with millionaires, etc.
