Pros

SW top management has recently become very active on Glassdoor, for every review by an employee, they are asking their loyal and blind devotees to write a positive review. One can easily spot this behaviour by just comparing the below reviews . "Disgraceful Company..."Management has no vision nor strategy. "Visionary Leadership and great cross-functional collaboration" - This review only counters each and every point raised in the other review and adds nothing new. We call this paid marketing. GOOD JOB!! All this clearly proves that management is trying its best to eyewash its prospective buyers and sell the company, wash their hands, make some money and get rid of the company.

Cons

Majority of valuable talent has left the company, nearly 30 IITians future is at stake, Hike letters have been handed over to majority of employees with effective date being January 2017. Assuming the current management succeeds in selling the company by this year end, it will be disastrous for the new buyer, as there will be widespread attrition in January. New CTO has no idea about execution, good for using only tech words (Multi-tenancy, agile process, automation) needed to eyewash buyers. A company which did not bother about all this for 10 years suddenly wants everything up and running in 2 months so that they can fool buyers.

Pros

- A visionary executive team that has a long-term view for the company - Best of breed product - Gartner recognized and appreciated by industry (especially clients) - Great support ecosystem - from a sales guy's point of view the support given by legal, finance and operations is tremendous - After a little turbulence (which is natural after a shakeup), the company has stabilized and there is a sense of purpose. Probably also explains some of the negative reviews :) - Healthy pipeline - as a sales guy am spending more time qualifying deals and figuring out which ones to pursue, rather than having to generate them - Processes are not burdensome - I have seen companies where process becomes a huge overhead. So far I have derived value from the lean processes followed in sales

Cons

- Product portfolio is rapidly changing - need to keep up with changes - Competitors are large and have deep pockets. That renders some deals 'un-win-able' as competitors bundle up SCM products with ERP products and offer deep discounts

Pros

The company has a history of innovation that rewards people willing to do what it takes to create market breakthroughs. Already recognized by Gartner as a leader in Sales & Operations Planning, the company launched its next-generation planning platform in October 2015, powered by the same Silicon Valley technologies that underlie high performance platforms such as Google, LinkedIn and Facebook, to turbo charge planning speed and scale. While the company is putting processes and people in place to manage its transition from an "S&OP only" company to a company driving broad planning innovation, management is inclusive in involving people at all levels of the organization in this transformation. This is a place for people who want to immerse themselves in a meaningful endeavor, not a place for people who just want a "steady job."

Cons

Some employees holding on to "the way we used to do things" can create negative vibes. New talent coming in can rally support, but there is the need to address those resistant to evolving along with the company. The company solves strategically important problems for market-leading companies, so sales cycles can be long (although this is the case in many companies selling enterprise solutions.)

Your review is thoughtful and much appreciated. We are working diligently to think outside of the box in terms of process, so we can achieve greatness, transitioning away from the "the way we used to do things" mindset.
