Smoke and mirrors - Software Developer Stax Employee Review

Below Average salary. Management does not evoke confidence and are out of touch. Constant pressure to always produce more and hustle for the sake of the company, but without any employee motivation beyond the cultish kool aid culture. We are told we "should be grateful" for working at making them a billion dollar company. Meanwhile, they revoke remote working stating that "working at the office makes us more productive" The same office that has barely any working equipment, no coffee, constantly booked meeting rooms and sketchy internet connections. Huge push to outsourcing dev work instead of hiring/promoting from within. I'm sure my position will be replaced by some nameless outsourcing company. Product owners "Joking" about forcing people to work unpaid overtime because they can't keep up with their workload. Feckless C-levels who just spew about how hard they supposedly work while they're barely present at the office themselves and their Instagram posts are full jet-setting lifestyle pictures, calling wine "Vitamin W" and dropping F-bombs left and right to what... be relatable? Don't fall for it, it's all a lie. Everyone under VP level are overworked, stressed out and tired.
