Pros

Benefits were OK, and on par with what others were offering Great location on the Orange Line Free sodas Made good friends there, since everyone was equally miserable Possible to get good experience with which to get a better job elsewhere

Cons

I worked at Stateside Associates first as an Associate and then as a Manager. From reading the reviews on this site it is clear that not much has changed there. An absolutely awful work environment. Impossible work loads during session, with impossible expectations for perfection, and with outrageous reactions when perfection is not attained and even minor mistakes are made. In-between these regular outbursts, most of the work is a dull and monotonous grind. Really the most awful and repressive environment I have ever experienced in my 25 years of working. People would regularly quit, on the spot, with no other employment prospects in the works. I was one of them! Folks, I can tell you this: Having worked as both an Associate and a Manager, your manager was/is just as miserable as you were/are, if not more. Manager's are under much more pressure than the associates, and are forced to interact with the CEO much more often and closely.

Pros

Flexibility, pleasant management, no micro managing

Cons

Would have liked regular zoom meetings to get to know some of my other co-workers to be able to connect and collaborate

Pros

Good for getting your foot in the door and a substantive item on your resume. Decent coworkers who are all in the same boat as you. Good opportunities to make connections. Very understanding when you inevitably find a different position.

Cons

Management is difficult. They have high expectations and will continue to load you with more work without additional staffing. Communication can be poor. Very small teams are responsible for very large workloads. Depending on your department, work-life balance can be a big problem (not mine, luckily). I get the feeling that this will all be automated out of existence one day
