Pros

There are some good folks within the corporation and you quickly understand and find the strong resources. Good work life balance and as a whole, they rarely work more than 45 hours / week

Cons

Too politically correct and strong "good ol' boy" network in management of white, catholic males, that have attended catholic universities. They do support promotion of women, people of color, and non-US passport holders but the third aspect is abused by folks having Irish passports (a loophole used by many whose grandparents were immigrants) Too much dead senior Mgmt in Boston and innovative thinking or risk taking is not encouraged. Like most banks, way too bloated with risk and audit tech is way too slow to react and ops not motivated to take a risk.

Pros

Own book runner and strategy. Good work life balance. Good working environment and nice people to work together

Cons

No much growth. Promotion to VP or higher is even forbidden based on company policy. Instead, ask people to move to different role. It doesn't make a lot of sense since it encourage people to find a new job.

Pros

The company has a great severence package. Unfortunately thats a pro because they are laying off workers every 3 months until most of operations are offshore. Decent 401k match and vacation.

Cons

Layoffs, pay is low. Return to office mandate.
