Pros

The benefits can be good starting out and for people new to the workforce, it's a great stepping stone. It's just not more than that.

Cons

Workers, especially at lower level, are expendable. Higher corporate is always looking to downsize to fatten their own pockets. The company encourages backstabbing, manipulating the system, and doing whatever it takes to rise up. In my own team we bend over backwards to meet our goals, and because we haven't had any major disaster, we now have less people on our team because 'we can handle it'.

Pros

They offer resources for learning.

Cons

In my previous roles I've never felt burnout but with this one is the first I was feeling crush. I don't think managers take time to structure the tasks on a 8hrs or 10hrs per day. There are a lot of unrealistic expectations, no work-life balance at all. Even if you made the sacrifice to stay late, you will not be done with the work for the day.
