      Pros

      Rehired twice with the state in two regional cities. There has always been an opportunity to help enhance the public with suggestions and referrals and guidance resources.

      Cons

      Lay offs were frequent as a state employee. Typically, there were minimal opportunities for advancements. As a result, many staff members made lateral moves or advancements in knowing the right person.
