Pros

They try very hard to commit to their mission and vision. They have easy to talk to managers.

Cons

Pay raise is not based on how long you've worked for them, but on skills you acquire that could be of use. Work hours are not always the same so pay is also not always the same.

Agreed on all counts. We try to open full time employee roles for everything we can, but where contractors are needed, you're right--there's inherent variability. Not only does client demand fluctuate, so does availability of other contractors, so we do our best to balance it out, and provide a healthy, livable working environment. Sounds like there's still room for improvement, though. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Pros

I have worked with StatBid management for about two years and have observed consistent value integration in hiring practices and employee relations. Management strives to provide competitive compensation, benefits, and a flexible, family-friendly schedule. Employees are encouraged to take time off when needed in order to avoid burnout.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons.

Pros

I’m posting this to clarify and effectively retract an earlier five-star review I previously left, which I’m unable to remove because I no longer have access to the account used to post it.

Cons

Throughout my time at StatBid, leadership frequently emphasized values such as integrity, transparency, and accountability in internal and external communications. That values-focused messaging initially drew me in and informed my earlier review. Over time, however, my experience did not align with how those values were practiced. I observed serious governance and boundary issues in leadership, including an extended, multi-year relationship involving an executive that began while the other individual was a subordinate. This created a significant power imbalance and contributed to that individual and another employee leaving the company. This is a small, founder-led company and experiences may vary, but prospective candidates should ask detailed questions about how stated values are operationalized in practice, how leadership accountability functions, and how concerns involving leadership are handled. In my experience, leadership communicates these values confidently and persuasively, so candidates should focus on concrete governance structures, HR protections, and past examples rather than relying on assurances alone.
