Pros

There are so many pros of working at StatBid! My coworkers and management were the kindest, most genuine people I've ever worked with. Everyone truly cares about each other and my coworkers always stepped in to help when I needed it. My boss, Shilo, was very down to earth and quickly became a mentor; we will definitely stay in touch for years to come. They went the extra mile for me and I felt like I was part of a family. The company is extremely small and 100% remote which was definitely a pro for my lifestyle. There is some flexibility but everyone definitely works hard. StatBid has a startup vibe, so employees have the opportunity to wear many hats and expand their skillsets if they are ambitious.

Cons

This company feels like a startup, and there seems to be some growing pains. In addition to running the company, the owners are also managing accounts and employees stay VERY busy. It is common to be assigned tasks with little to no direction, so being a self-starter is important. StatBid works with a range of clients varying in size, and it feels as though smaller clients occasionally get a disproportionate amount of time and resources. StatBid is working hard to smooth out the kinks, and I'm confident the company will continue to thrive.

Pros

I have worked with StatBid management for about two years and have observed consistent value integration in hiring practices and employee relations. Management strives to provide competitive compensation, benefits, and a flexible, family-friendly schedule. Employees are encouraged to take time off when needed in order to avoid burnout.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons.

Pros

I’m posting this to clarify and effectively retract an earlier five-star review I previously left, which I’m unable to remove because I no longer have access to the account used to post it.

Cons

Throughout my time at StatBid, leadership frequently emphasized values such as integrity, transparency, and accountability in internal and external communications. That values-focused messaging initially drew me in and informed my earlier review. Over time, however, my experience did not align with how those values were practiced. I observed serious governance and boundary issues in leadership, including an extended, multi-year relationship involving an executive that began while the other individual was a subordinate. This created a significant power imbalance and contributed to that individual and another employee leaving the company. This is a small, founder-led company and experiences may vary, but prospective candidates should ask detailed questions about how stated values are operationalized in practice, how leadership accountability functions, and how concerns involving leadership are handled. In my experience, leadership communicates these values confidently and persuasively, so candidates should focus on concrete governance structures, HR protections, and past examples rather than relying on assurances alone.
