This was the most frustrating job I ever had (and I've worked for over 50 years). The training was totally Inadequate to help the customers like they needed to be helped. Because of this, they were often irate (and rightfully so) because they weren't getting the help they needed from the company. The company was more worried about time on the phone than helping customers (most of whom were very frustrated with the company's customer service). When you tried to get help to assist the customers, it was mostly non-existent. They had an internal email system that was supposed to be monitored for questions by a supervisor, but was not always covered. I knew of employees who did hang up on customers or transfer them rather than deal with the issues. Extremely frustrating and stressful. Call Centers are definitely not for me. I truly wanted to help the customers, but was unable to like I wanted due to the policies of the company.
