      Pros

      You get a free pair of glasses when you join and again for every birthday.

      Cons

      Got charged with tax fraud during covid due to negligence of employer. Charges were dropped by providing documentation to courts showing Standard Optical's lack of instruction on applying for unemployment during covid, Standard Optical failing to distinguish pay between earned money and supplemental monies from the government, and that they were unable to provide the courts with proper breakdown of paychecks.

      Pros

      I have been working for Standard Optical for over 3 yrs and am very happy. My manager is amazing and have learned a lot from the 2 that I have had. Our DM is a great leader. My pay is really great. I am so glad I found such an awesome company to work for, we are all like family.

      Pros

      Not many. Helping and guiding patients and the interactions there can be very rewarding.

      Promised commissions when hiring and has not given commissions for months, severely understaffed, everyone is leaving due to a horrible workplace environment, upper management in the Corporate Office is a complete and utter joke. Never kind, always glare at me, and its reminiscent of high school drama. Very unprofessional. You will be overworked, barely get breaks, and heaven forbid you have to go the restroom and you're the only one working
