Pros
- Still a lot of excellent people - You can be challenged in different ways - A lot of options for career advancement for good people - The IB units do not have any of the problems like some of the other SA banks
Cons
- Still struggling with their identity and Africa-focused strategy and how to integrate all the parts, without having large offshore operations - Legacy systems are still heavily integrated - IT costs are large and value for money is questionable
