Pros

Working at StaffCircle will certainly challenge you - it’s a startup after all. It’s how you feel about being challenged that will determine how much you enjoy working at the company. If you are passionate about what you do; it’s the company for you! If you are wanting to do minimal work and coast in your career, then it’s a big no-no. ✅If you want career opportunities and are willing to put the work in, there is a culture of support and development and no end of opportunities. ✅HR and senior management do a great job in ‘reaping what they sow’ you will have performance reviews, clear objectives and skills and development opportunities. ✅Genuinely great culture, CEO is very approachable and human! There’s no top-down divide, everyone is valued and respected. ✅Really great product that is going places - a great time to join and ride the wave.

Cons

If you don’t have the right work ethic, you won’t survive. It’s not a job for people who want to simply coast.

Pros

You're exposed to loads of different areas of the business and can be creative with solving issues. If you structure your points in a logical way with evidential backing you are listened to, make sure you have suggestions on how to solve the issue before raising it. It builds a certain resilience in you but its very easy to get burnt out.

Cons

Everyone isn't always on the same page when it comes to strategy so I'd say you have to be quite assertive with your professional opinions. The workload is quite intense, you need to be heavily committed to the business to get everything you're responsible for done. There isn't a lot of time to get things done right, there are quite a few short cuts taken. There is an element of micromanagement. You are expected to work past your contracted hours on a daily basis and if you're not seen to be doing this then there are repercussions. Some of the customers have unrealistic expectations of what the product does and a lot of selling is done on "Coming Soon" features.
