Pros

Immediate work (you are usually placed at a warehouse the same day if you come in early). Jobs do not require workers to be skilled. Pays on a weekly basis.

Cons

Work is available on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Wages are low ($7.25 for 1st shift workers). Since Staff Line deals mainly in unskilled labor, you will work with people who are fresh out of jail, developmentally impaired, unable to speak English well and simply unable to perform any level of tasks that require critical thinking skills. The main warehouse Staff Line does business with is Technicolor, who distributes DVDs, Blu-Rays and game media for many movie studios and software companies across the country. You must often arrive to the warehouse 2 hours before start times in order to ensure your likelihood to work. The majority of the people who work through Staff Line are generally unemployable elsewhere, either because they are not equipped for other lines of work, have questionable citizenship, criminal backgrounds that would prevent them from working anywhere else (if you haven't committed a felony in 7 years, Staff Line will hire you) or some other impairment. Many of the people who work through Staff Line have problems following simple instructions, attitude problems or simply cannot do the work, which makes them a revolving door of misfits, imbeciles and nut-jobs. Most people last less than a week.
