Pros
Students are amazing - smart, kind, respectful, resourceful, innovative. Campus is beautiful! Retirement package can be generous.
Cons
Alumni employees are held to much more forgiving standards and promoted first, regardless of experience, and lack of leadership training turns them cruel and punitive. Non-faculty and hourly staff are considered, and treated as, low class (unless alumnus). Internal leadership is white-biased, regardless of public statements. Among lowest paid universities and colleges.
