Pros

It's easy. It's retail in a city mall. The store only sells one thing, so there aren't a ton of tasks to manage at the same time. Weekdays usually have quite a bit of downtime

Cons

Most employees get 4-8 hrs/week. There is only ever one employee on the clock at a time. Communication is non existent. Corporate makes many false claims during trainings. Training videos are made by someone who has never interacted with a customer in their entire life. Half of the equipment doesn't work or is outright missing. Our store bathroom had no soap for OVER TWO MONTHS despite asking management repeatedly in writing. PTO is withheld if you quit, no matter how much notice you give

- Wonderful coworkers - Good discount - Fun environment

Cons

- Slow sometimes, depending on the day (but that’s really to be expected)

Pros

nice customers sometimes, sufficient part time hours

Cons

everything else. We’re constantly surveilled over cameras by upper management sitting on their butts, expecting us to visit a family to interrupt their conversation TWICE after letting them know about promotions. I was singled out for drawing on a post-it note when it’d been slow, no one came in for 30 minutes, and there was nothing else to straighten/clean. Management will pick every little thing apart. They think it’s gonna help sales and keep employees accountable but it really just breeds a culture of distrust and hostility. I mean they are watching those cameras like absolute hawks. It is so hostile and harsh. Which is ironic, because that doesn’t align with the company ethos they promote to us or the customers.
