Pros
- founder/owner, Kathryn Lucas, is very good at her job and invested time and energy in getting me up to speed quickly so I (and more importantly - the clients) could be successful. - the team has a fast-paced, high-energy vibe and is genuinely committed to serving clients well (it was important to me to feel like I was part of an organization that was offering a valuable service). - Square One allows you to take on more or less clients to suit your schedule throughout the year. - I genuinely enjoyed the content of the work and the people interaction (both SOP employees and clients)
Cons
Kathryn is smart, has high standards, and is direct. It might not be a great job for people who are thin-skinned or not committed. Even when Kathryn gave direct feedback, I always felt she cared about my development and even more about the clients' outcomes though. I would return to work for SOP again in a heartbeat if the timing were right for me.
