First and foremost, the owners and founders are brilliant men. Both of them. If you can shut up long enough to learn from them you will. However, you are treated like a client. You will receive sales pitch after sales pitch to address any concern you have with your role or the company. You are incredibly dehumanized and told you're an asset constantly, but you are never made to actually feel that way. Square 2's problem is that they are just words. For a company that thrives on a silly "no fluff" policy, you spew the most fluff out of everyone, maybe not to your clients (who more often than not wind up hating this company) but certainly to your employees.
Give HR the rope they need to actually fix the deep rooted problems both owners have created. HR takes all the heat, and all of the blows from the unhappy employees but his hands are totally tied by his own ignorant bosses who REFUSE to admit that they could possibly be the problem.
