Pros

The customer success associates take on a lot and are hard working. Good crash course for working in mobile tech support.

Cons

It’s not really a startup atmosphere anymore; it works like a corporation - upper management will make decisions and would often not consult the team. I wasn’t told about certain things on purpose, and sure you can do that, but at least admit support matters very much by paying more then, because the issue with the product is it’s barely customizable on the user’s end, so everything runs through support. I also see very little upward mobility from this position in particular, which also contributes to the corporate atmosphere.

Thank you for the feedback. As a fast growing early stage company, we do ask a lot of our employees and we move quickly. That said, it is never our intention to rollout product changes without consulting or reviewing with the Support organization. To the contrary, we have sourced the majority of our product roadmap from feedback which has come directly from the Support team and our customers. It is also worth noting that the majority of our Support leadership team started off in a CSA position, which may not be apparent to newer members of the team. I am sorry that your Squadle experience did not live up to your expectations. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any additional feedback or concerns which you’d like to discuss. -Brendan Bencharit, Chief Customer Officer

Pros

working from home, flexible scheduling and unlimited PTO*

Cons

*unlimited PTO means management will guilt you about it before approving it, but will also make statements like "we can afford to be selective with our new hiring candidates". all while postponing , cancelling, or just simply not showing up to regular check in meetings and stand-ups. Progression within the company is virtually non-existent. If you step up to the plate in hopes of being seen, they will make it the expectation and take issue when things are not sustainable. Employee Reviews were conducted months after they should have. This in turn also resulted in our team being blindsided by an insulting "market raise" that was less than the inflation rate. when asked about company growth plans or other issues related to employee satisfaction, direct managers will ignore or worse, string you along endlessly until you get fed up and stop asking.
