Pros

- Coworkers - R&R days - Stock - PTO policy, unlimited but encourages people to take it

Cons

Support leadership doesn't listen to direct reports enough. Then they're surprised people are unhappy. Transparency is supposed to be a value here but isn't practice by this leadership team. So much gossip from the leadership team about their direct reports. They think it doesn't trickle down but it does. No career growth unless you want to stay in support the whole time. They'll point to the same 3 people who have been promoted to roles outside of the team as some sort of win for them. Those people did all the lifting themselves with minimal help from any of the leaders on the support team. At that point you might as well go look for a new job because the pay is also below average.

Pros

This is the best company culture, and I think everything else flows from it: the possibility of new projects, the work-life balance, the benefits. Sprout invests in its people, from generous PTO and company-wide R&R Days to meeting-free focus days. The benefits package is pretty comprehensive including medical, vision and dental plans, 16 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents, a 401(k) with company match, ESPP, and real remote work (you receive a stipends for your home office) with joining the whole team in Chicago a couple times a year. On the growth side, feedback is both expected and encouraged, informally and formally. I've been really happy here.

Cons

Compensation does trend below market average for the industry, but personally, the overall benefits package and culture help offset that.

Pros

Remote friendly culture Good work life balance

Cons

Terrible leadership who start resource intensive vanity projects that last longer than they do. Horrible infrastructure that holds back product innovation. Company only seems to want the appearance of being data-driven, but when asked to take real steps to invest in scalable infrastructure and tooling, they balk.
