      Constant Engineering turnover Engineering is not understood, web applications are unstable with constant bugs and downtime Working Monday-Saturday the week of mandatory in person summits (6 days/week rather than 4) Deadlines that are unreasonable, inflexible and not dictated by engineers Unpredictable schedule, I was promised a 4 days work week and almost no one works only 4 days/week. The culture presented on the website is not the culture I experienced. None of the employees I spoke to that were let go got any severance (about half the company was let go, some very soon after they were hired).

      You have a salary. You get paid to put up with all the dysfunctions.

      Cons

      This once mighty company of over 35 is now hovering around 12. Nepotism runs rampant. The person in charge of engineering doesn't know anything about engineering and runs it that way. You never know what you will be working on until the day starts as there is no plan and you are just at the whims of what leadership is feeling for the day. Career path? No. This is not a company in which they care nor give you any room to advance your career. You are only a hired hand and you are treated that way. If you like just being a ticket taker and don't care about amassing technical debt, this is the place for you.
