Pros
Some management is really great and actually care about people. Head doctor knows his job and is good at it. A few nurses are pretty awesome. Free food for staff.
Cons
CEO of this location is clueless. Has no drive to be a decent person or boss. No idea how to run a building. Lies are a normal part of this job no matter the department. Nursing and PCAs are severely overworked, underpaid, and beyond under appreciated, especially since this hospital does not care about their safety. Therapists are expected to work long hours without long hour pay. Housekeepers are constantly at risk because they are offered no protection from patients. Dietary staff is expected to cook without the tools and inventory to make decent meals. Directors, the ones who are not a part of the politics with the CEO are overworked, stressed, and expected to do the work of those who just have the title for the pay. Tension in the building is unreal. Policies change on a whim and staff isn’t told until they don’t adhere to a policy they didn’t know changed. Not a safe place for anyone who has a compromised immune system since they do not follow CDC guidelines.
