Pros

Decently flexible hours, hone personal and customer skills that translates directly to any career outside of the restaurant industry. Respectable pay (mostly in tips) if you are a full-time employee. Respected and understanding management.

Cons

You may not like all peers you work with, however, that may occur in any field of work you select. No accountable salary as a waiter, you may receive considerable salary within management.

Pros

Free employee meal once a day, excellent menu to offer to guests, proud to serve in such a professional atmosphere. Friendly management.

Cons

Long hours, split shifts, double side work when you are a split. Must work most holidays and many Sundays, but that’s typical for many restaurant jobs.
