During my internship, I gained strong hands-on experience across the full analytics lifecycle, including data extraction, cleaning, exploratory analysis, and automated reporting. I built and maintained Power BI dashboards, strengthened my SQL and Python skills on real-world datasets, and delivered clear, actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders. The role helped me improve my ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with non-technical teams, and translate data into meaningful business decisions while maintaining high attention to detail.
Cons
There were no downsides to the experience. My key takeaway is that staying proactive, asking questions, and taking ownership of your work can significantly amplify what you gain from an internship.
