Spring O'Brien Response
12y
It's unfortunate that this employee felt the way s/he did. Spring O'Brien is truly a great place to work, with a company structure that not only fosters growth through team work, but also encourages an entrepreneurial spirit, empowering employees to work independently and own their business. We pride ourselves on growing employees and providing mentor-ship within departments. If someone is seeking a corporate environment with rigid structure and micromanaging, we are not a right fit. Creativity, stellar writing, and out-of-the-box thinking are some of what sets us apart. In fact, our retention rates are extremely high, with a majority of people here for years. Though we remain a fully integrated agency, a portion of the advertising division spun off in spring 2013. The group that has since left caused negativity while here. The culture, otherwise, is and has always been one of warm and welcoming people without airs. Just a good group of fun, friendly folks who enjoy each other's company and the work we do. Management has addressed benefits and in 2014 changed providers to offer a much more comprehensive package that is the same as large corporations.
