Pros
Spring has offered excellent professional growth, and has a deep focus on developing employees at all levels. I transitioned from teaching in the classroom to a work-from-home position to support our schools and have worked with a large number of managers and supervisors at various levels on projects. All of them have demonstrated a focus on providing excellent education to our students and all have been very supportive of me, personally, and others. I have worked for Spring Education for several years, since the group purchased the school where I taught. While structural changes within the company can be concerning to experience, it is an expectation within large organizations, and the adjustments and repositioning make sense over time. I have enjoyed working as part of Spring Education Group, and look forward to continued growth in my role. One of the biggest positives for me is the truly excellent work-life balance. Every person I have worked with at Spring has a clear understanding that life happens and a person's family is their priority. Team members are always ready to help and provide flexibility. I am very fortunate to be able to work full time from home with a team of great people and balance that with being present for my family and kids when they have notable events during the business day.
Cons
I would love for our benefits options, specifically health insurance, to be a bit more affordable for a family plan, but there is a balance between utilizing a large provider to be able to find care and keeping costs at a minimum. At the end of the day, I'll accept paying a bit more to find a doctor more easily.
