Pros
- The product is amazing. It's a niche industry and it's already matured enough to be capable to cater to a good sized ICP. - The team is young and energetic. - There is minimal bureaucracy. - The team consistently iterate over the processes when they see things don't work. Nothing is too rigid to change. - Mostly transparent in terms of growth, plans, strategy changes, etc. - Amazing work-life balance. You may end up working over the weekends in the times of unexpected issues or deadlines, but it's an exception and not the rule.
Cons
- As the size of the company increased, I doubt that the startup hustle that gave people good adrenaline rush has to build and ship things have reduced a bit. This maybe a good thing to have a good work-life balance, but I'm someone who enjoys it. So this may not really be a con for everyone.
