Pros

Nice people and free coffee/tea

Cons

Honestly don't know where to begin... Management is a clown show; they are constantly contradicting themselves and talking in circles all day long. They say one thing in the morning, and in the afternoon, they "take back" what they say and send another teams message that is full of bs and just makes people mad. You have to constantly look over your shoulder because they are constantly watching you and will never leave you alone. You will never be able to do anything right, and it will never be "your book of business" because they are trying to control everything that you do. They talk to you like you're hardly a person, constantly trying to belittle you to make themselves feel better (especially if you're a woman). They're constantly saying outlandish things to you and your coworkers. 99% of "upper" management has a superiority complex, will tell you how terrible a job you're doing, and will tell you that you're never doing enough work even when you're hitting your sales activities every day. If you don't get in around 7 am (not contracted hours), you're not a good employee. If you're leaving at 5 pm (when the work day ends), you're not a good employee. You will constantly feel stressed and anxious, and you will not be able to sit down to take a break at lunch because taking a lunch break is frowned upon. You are expected to eat at your desk and continue to cold call, so in reality, you're not even really eating because you are expected to talk on the phone constantly. They will tell you that they value talk time over sales activities, but then you'll get in trouble the next day for not hitting your sales activity even though you have 2+ hours of tt. They are pathological, misogynistic, sexist liars. I want to tell every single person who walks into the building for an interview to RUN! Such a toxic work environment (besides your nice coworkers), and your nervous system is constantly on a roller coaster there. You will dread waking up every morning to go in because of how bad the atmosphere is. This job can be done from home, but they refuse to let you work from home because they have been sued before (look it up). It's a revolving door there; people are constantly quitting, and they are constantly hiring new people. They will fire good people, just to hire new people in a new hiring class, in hopes that the whole class doesn't make it through, they hope they either quit or they will fire them a year later to once again, bring in new people. If you want a career in sales, don't start here. Only a small percentage of people succeed at this company, and 99% of those are men. Stay far away from this place; it's as toxic as can be, and they DO NOT care about you, no matter what you're going through.

Pros

The office is in a good area of the city and building amenities are nice.

Cons

This company and the entirety of its management is completely unprofessional. Managers will only help you when it is convenient to them, miss scheduled meetings without notice, or be absent for weeks at a time. Manager turnover is high and you are left to figure things out for yourself a good majority of the time. There is no work from home option and they online provide 10 days of PTO and 0 sick days. Most people, management included, will come in sick to save their vacation days and get others sick in the process. The only time a work from home option was provided was when a former employee posed an extremely dangerous threat to the office and police had to guard the building. Even then, the option to work in office was available. Racism and sexism are prevalent throughout the company. Minorities are the first to be placed on performance improvement plans on tracks to be fired, while others with equal or even lower performance are not. Women are frequent targets of baseless accusations made by trainers and upper management, making it an incredibly hostile environment to work in.
