Pros

Free t-shirts once in a while

Cons

Work every single holiday. Low pay, miserable staff, high turnover, awful working conditions, expensive insurance plan they advertise as great (lol). You will never feel appreciated, your hard work will not be recognized. They are so full of hot air and bull S*it platitudes here its incredible. Hourly employees are screwed over. When they work overtime they don't get time and half. They get overtime based on minimum wage even if they make well above that for their rate. They say its not their fault and that people get paid as season work even though employees are full time. This whole place is a crooked sham where the company leases city land and then tales public land and sells court time and lessons to the wealthiest people in the city. It's a disgusting operation. The execs get season tickets to sporting events, lots of vacation, and tons of free stuff and the employees can barely afford to pay their rent here in New York. The clients who play here are the rudest super wealthy folks who will talk to you like you are a peasant, I mean with what they pay you here you actually are a peasant, but it still does not feel good. I have some friend who are journalists and they will be looking into this disgusting operation. Using public land to get rich and treating employees like slaves while they do. It's real ugly. GO WORK ANYWHERE ELSE!

Pros

Supportive Leadership: My direct supervisor was incredibly kind and helpful. She was always there to guide me through new workflows and genuinely cared about my success. Company Culture: The atmosphere is very positive. I really enjoyed the Monday morning meetings and the general camaraderie among the staff. Unique Perks: The benefits are a major plus—having the flexibility for coffee/snack breaks and the opportunity to play pickleball with the team made the workday much more enjoyable. Fair Compensation: The wages are competitive and satisfactory for the industry.

Cons

Limited Growth Paths: At the time, there weren't many clear avenues for transitioning into long-term, full-time career roles within my specific department.

Pros

- Community atmosphere You’ll likely see the same players, parents, and coaches daily — it can feel familiar and relationship-based. - Lighter physical demand (mostly) Less running around than retail stockrooms or long hours on your feet styling clients. - Exposure to athletics & wellness culture If you enjoy being around movement, discipline, and performance environments, this can be motivating.

Cons

-Competitive sports environments can bring strong personalities. -Unless you move into operations or management, growth paths may be narrow.
