Pros

Just be a stylist full time and you will make the same amount as a manager plus they don't do a good job of recruiting and you will never have time to dedicate to looking for staff I'm the beginning I was able to but as you build your book they don't give you a day to do management work so you would be spending your time off for this and their meetings ect

Cons

No health insurance not enough help doing anything underpaid if you are fast at haircuts and good you will not benefit because the more you can do in an hour. Will only get you extra tips but not extra money. For example, if you can do 2 to 3 people in a single hour and they were all MVPs you would have average almost $26 per customer but only get your hourly wage and tips. Yes they have bonuses but they will mess around with those so that you can do the impossible and still not get it. Also they are not good on their word about their pay scales. I would make sure that I understand everything completely before starting this job and check them on every single thing they do

Each store has a unique owner and set of team members so experiences vary by location. I will share your feedback with the appropriate party.

Pros

Pay, schedule flexibility, growth opportunities, company events, benefits

Cons

The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

Pros

Flexible schedule and decent pay.

Cons

Team leader claimed to care about his team, but only cared about a few! Team leader cared more about employees, causing problems than the employees doing their job! Team leader got teary-eyed when an employee needed to be let go for being aggressive with another stylist! Team leader refused to pay out vacation time to an employee who quit, stating that it wasn’t policy and had never done before, employee who quit showed proof that it had been done before and team leader still refused to pay out vacation. Very few policy and procedures are followed per Sport Clips handbook, 100% would not recommend working for Sport Clips, especially at this location. Well hourly pay is decent, bonus on any level is nearly impossible, especially as a manager! As a stylist, you have to hit all three metrics to bonus at all, and as a manager, you yourself have to hit all the metrics, and you have to have at least one stylist who hits their metrics as well.
