Pros

Team: Great people, strong leadership, accessible/communicative management Culture: Hard working group, but a laid back/casual environment. Weekly all-company meetings are helpful in communicating priorities and helping everyone feel connected to the mission. Technology: Some of the most up-to-date tech at the core of the company's platform. No rinky-dink smoke and mirrors pseudo adtech. Some incredibly smart and capable people in engineering. Market Opportunity: Definitely a company that's well positioned and timed to succeed in the growing programmatic creative segment. Reputation: The company and its services are well respected across the industry. A little too below the radar but new investments in the marketing teams should help make some noise.

Cons

Spongecell has been a little low-key on the marketing front, but it looks like this is changing quickly.

Pros

The mission of the company is cool - the idea that every ad can be interactive and it doesn't have to be costly or a pain to deal with the way other rich media vendors make it (or at least have historically). Still a start-up environment so very casual atmosphere (no offices, wear jeans and really whatever you want to work, music played on central system Fridays, sporting events like the World Cup played in the couch area). Weekly food delivery so there's usually snacks and other food in the kitchen. Hours are great and there's an effort to do more fun things like Zog Sports and yoga in the office. Young team (only a couple people over 40) so there's a lot of good energy. Multiple insurance options - one health insurance plan is 100% employer covered. People are encouraged to collaborate with each other, share ideas between departments, etc.

Cons

All departments operate pretty leanly from a staffing perspective so everyone is stretched pretty thin. While people are encouraged to collaborate, there's little formal structure in place to ensure this happens. Internal communication needs to be improved within departments and inter-departmentally. More resources are needed within marketing, research, and overall sales support.
