Pros
Benefits are fine, especially the free transit pass. Pay seemed reasonable.
Cons
Management plays lip service to improvement of systems, documentation, processes, etc., but demonstrates no actual interest in action. On-call rotation is short due to small IT staff, and covers everything - including systems outside your role. Many systems are undocumented, or poorly documented as word docs in a shared drive. Middle management is incapable of and inadequately trained for their role, and upper management does not seem to care. Individuals are micromanaged and laid out to dry for mistakes or misunderstandings. Polite corrections are frequently taken as personal affronts. Staff handbook was "not available" from HR for the length of my employment.
