Pros
Spirable is my first job in the IT industry. I am from a military and civil service background. I found the transition to this new professional environment and career to be very smooth. The Engineering Team is very diverse and eager to learn and self develop, with engineers from different countries and cultures, which I find to be an excellent characteristic. It is a rather young team, but nonetheless efficient and professional. Also a very cohesive one, there's always support for each other, even with our new remote working policy. The company has a quite unique product, for a very demanding and fast paced market. I truly enjoy developing our platform, as there is always a new challenge and opportunity to learn. Spirable has always provisioned me with cutting edge tools and technologies from major cloud development providers, and I enjoy the freedom of choosing how to best implement the features I develop with such tools. We have the option of working both fully remote or office based, which is an unprecedented level of flexibility that I never had in my previous roles. Even with the COVID crisis the business did not stop growing, and proved to be a resilient business model, that continued growing despite all problems of 2020. Workload is fair, with the eventual crunch, however with no unrealistic pressure or demands. I have worked on projects on my own from start to finish, and as part of joint effort teams as well.
