Pros

Health care coverage is covered, but the plans are pretty bad. But in terms of American healthcare, it’s pretty good.

Cons

All the past reviews feel 100% accurate. To call it chaotic would be an understatement, because chaos simply implies that it is a random confusing place enduring rapid unsustainable growth. Here chaos is used as a strategic device by ownership to confuse, undervalue, and gaslight their staff. Leadership has no vision beyond whatever the easiest path to more money even if it means compromising on design standards, the mental health of their staff, or abiding by ethical standards they claim to respect. The whole company feels like a house of cards that’s being propped up by a chaotic instagram and large investments in PR. If you try to establish boundaries, you will be shown the door. If you have any other option, I would not recommend working here. 90% of the staff rocks, but leadership has literal contempt for most of them and does not value the work being done to keep the essential operations running. They position themselves as a taste making brand but only care about making fast money. They don’t care about art or culture unless it’s a way for them to look good or sell more of the same 5 styles. There is no creativity or truly original thinking and when the staff does it, it is shot down immediately unless it’s pitched in a way that make ownership feel like it was their idea. I could go on and on, but at the end of the day this job will rob you of your time and soul Then grind you to the dirt then find someone else to replace you. They also pay their staff based on a pay scale that is way behind inflation.

Pros

Spinelli Kilcollin is truly an amazing place to work. The management team is approachable and supportive, and genuinely invested in the growth and success of each employee, not only professionally but personally. Advancement opportunities often arise for those who look to grow with the company and show the drive to do so. The work environment is highly collaborative, everyone's ideas are welcomed and valued, and the office culture is so open and positive! The benefits package is generous, including great health insurance options, the ability to get credit towards jewelry, and ample PTO. The product itself is beautiful and unique, and it's exciting to be part of a brand that stands out and makes a name for itself in the luxury space by breaking rules and traditions. As SK grows rapidly, there is a lot of momentum and excitement for what comes next.

Cons

With such fast growth, the company is evolving constantly. This means processes can shift quickly and frequently, which can be a challenge if you prefer a more predictable workflow with few changes to procedures.

Pros

Good healthcare (you will need it for therapy) and wages are aligned with the role and market

Cons

In the beginning, things feel great, so enjoy it while it lasts. The reality is that the good, the bad, and the ugly all come in waves. The company motto is ‘Everything is Connected.’ Unfortunately, the link connecting it all is chaos, poor leadership and a toxic company culture. Leadership sometimes makes hiring decisions they later regret, and instead of addressing the situation directly, employees have been coached to intentionally push people out of the company. Turnover is high, so if you’re a new employee, the best approach is to take things day by day. Do your job well and stay focused, but be aware that the environment created by one of the co-founders and the CEO can feel unpredictable and chaotic. They may try to get personal very quickly. Don’t overshare and keep your guard up - the switch-up comes… not if, but when. You will get asked to make so many proposals, SOP’s and documents that will likely not get reviewed by leadership. It’s a waste of time but do what you are told.
