You can make your own hours. My boss (Mr. Chun) is very nice and helpful when I comes to running into problems. He always makes me feel like my work matters and that I am doing a good job.
Cons
You are mainly working on your own while programming as no one in the office has a lot of programming experience. I had to research a lot to find ways to create the features desired or fix a specific problem.
Highly exposed to electronics and RF devices that you will not see in school.
There will be absolutely no place more horrifying to work than here. This job will prepare you mentally for any ridicule or chaotic environment you will encounter in your career.
You are an actual engineer here and not reporting to someone above you.
Very good opportunity to build your resume and move on to a more professional job.
Decent Pay.
The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of -5 is because of the opportunities it will open for you.
Cons
The owner is detrimental to the company and does not value his employees. Almost every one of his actions or thoughts are not logical in the least yet he is rooted in his ways. His organization skills are horrendous and any employee efforts to improve this are shut down. His business knowledge/decisions are equally as terrible. This company has a lot of potential, but the owner is driving it into the ground. The owner needs to leave this place and stop ruining it.
