Pros
Salary is competitive Benefits are average, PTO is good (+ holiday break between Christmas and New Year's) WFH is flexible, hybrid model return to office Interesting, fun work environment Inclusive, diverse Open minded to new ideas Talented and nice peers. Most people are easy to work with and always willing to help Growth opportunities are encouraged and developed Very cool to see your work out in the world - rewarding
Cons
Office location - Long Island City, not the easiest or safest commute On-boarding/Training is almost non-existent. Be prepared to figure most things out on your own Organization is abysmal Archaic, manual project tracking, which easily leads to human error. Several different methods to search for information Severe lack of communication. Constant change of direction/rules without informing all stakeholders. Can be completely ignored by management with work related tasks and/or concerns because "they're too busy" Meetings, meetings, meetings ... Short deadlines can lead to late nights and burnout High turnover rate of employees Has an air of an old boys club, favoritism In chaotic transition from a start-up mentality into a bigger corporate structure.
