Pros
I had the pleasure to intern at Speranza Human Compassion Project and joining a team of dedicated leaders and other student interns. The goal of this internship was to conduct research and use that research to develop training modules for first responders that engage with victims of domestic violence on a range of different topics to help them respond compassionately towards victims and their families.
As a Psychology major and busy student, interning at Speranza was a great experience as it was mostly a remote position that really worked with my school and work schedule. It has also really helped me build my resume. I also thought it was great that at the end of my internship, the Intern Coordinator provided me with a professional reference and recommendation letter which helped me land a job!
Overall, excellent internship experience!
