If you've worked one call center job... - RSC Representative I Spectrum Employee Review

Pros

The health benefits alone are Top Tier. Probably the best you'll find outside of another fortune 500. Decent starting pay. Paid, lengthy and truly comprehensive training. Partially self-driven raises, as in, you do X amount of hours of additional training(roughly 20 hours for each bump is unpaid) and you get a $1.50 pay raise and a roman numeral added to your title that adds nothing to your responsibility, but only makes it so you're eligible to move up to a senior position.

Cons

The shifts are garbage. You're usually starting out filling whatever gap there is in the current schedule, and because the hours are 6am to 10pm, you're saddled with either waking up at the crack of dawn, or having no life because you can only do things in the mornings, or late at night when nothing in this small town(Fond Du Lac) is open. Management is an unstructured amalgamation of both Macro and Micro management styles, and it wholly depends on who your direct supervisor, and subsequently, there and your manager is. Also, you're taking calls from people who didn't have their problem initially solved by Spectrum's customer service line, so just imagine how unhappy most people you talk to will be. And because it's mostly all outbound calls, it's the equivalent of willingly eating a poop sandwich.
